How Squish Buddies Started

Squish Buddies started as a small family business here in Western Australia.

Our six-year-old autistic son became completely obsessed with all things squishy. The problem was that much of what we found online or through mainstream retailers was either poor quality, difficult to source, expensive, or left us asking questions about safety.

We wanted something better: good-quality, affordable squishies that had been properly safety tested.

So Squish Buddies was born.

Within a few short months, we went from selling a handful online to selling hundreds of squishies at markets, shopping centres and community events.

Then Kylie contacted us.

She loved what we were doing and wanted to start her own squishy business. After weeks of conversations, advice and helping her through many of the hurdles we'd already encountered, she became our first affiliate.

And it worked.

Safety Comes First

One subject kept coming up while we were helping Kylie: safety.

There are now thousands of squishy products available from factories around the world, and just as many people selling them. From the beginning, we wanted Squish Buddies to be different.

Our current product range is independently tested against EN71 Parts 1, 2 and 3, covering key toy-safety requirements including physical and mechanical safety, flammability and restricted substances.

These standards are widely recognised internationally, including in Australia.

For us, that means we can concentrate on supplying products that are fun, affordable and properly tested.

How Does the Affiliate Program Work?

There are no franchise fees, no percentage of your profits, no ongoing membership fees and no lock-in contract.

You simply purchase your stock from Squish Buddies at wholesale affiliate pricing. We help you choose your opening range, share what we've learned about products, markets, presentation and selling, and give you a step-by-step guide to help get you started.

From there, the business is yours.

You can sell at markets and events, shopping-centre pop-ups, through Facebook and other social platforms, locally through community groups, or even through your own website.

How Much Can I Make?

That depends entirely on how much you want to put into it.

You might want an occasional side income, or you may decide to run markets and pop-ups several days a week. There is no fixed earning ceiling imposed by us.
